August has come and gone in the blink of an eye. School is back in session and though the weather doesn’t quite feel like fall, we’ve been dreaming about cozy nights by the fire and starting to get ready for the holidays…because they’ll be here before you know it!

This month the team has been obsessing over pieces with intricate details, unique shapes and one-of-a-kind details. The neutral color palette of these selections is a perfect example of how you don’t have to use color to have a show stopping piece.

August obsessions, White stool with polka dots,

Theodore Alexander

“This piece is so good! It’s a great mix of materials, I love the subtle pattern with the black dot, that it can be used as a stool or side table, and that it can be incorporated into a range of design styles.”
– Blair Foster, Lead Designer
“This light fixture is truly incredible. It took my breath away when I saw this at Las Vegas Market.”
– Laura Umansky, Founder & Creative Director
“This ceiling detail is my current obsession. The beams are so intricate, but they have such clean lines create simple, yet elegant details. It’s quite a pleasant surprise.”
– Krystin Westby-Cole, Interior Design Assistant
“I love the unique faceted design and how just luxuriously over the top it is! It’s a jaw dropping statement placed right in the middle of a beautiful, quiet space.”

– Shenay Keyes, Lead Designer

As we head into September, I hope these pieces give you inspiration for your next design project. To see more of my favorite things and get a sneak peek at the projects the team is working on, follow me on Instagram.

I Absolutely love the Luxe example of design. The beams are so intricate, but they have such clean lines create simple, yet elegant details. It’s quite a pleasant surprise.
