There are so many ways you can add drama to a room. A fabulous light fixture, a gorgeous piece of art or a bold ceiling color can be just what the space needs. But have you ever thought about using a floor mirror?
Last week, the team and I kicked off August with a trip to the Las Vegas Market. It was a very busy three days, but it was tons of fun! I got to do guided tours of the Global Views, Four Hands and Zuo showrooms, do an #viewonvegas Instagram takeover for IMC Market Centers, and I had the pleasure of participating in the Luxe Interiors + Design Ahead of the Curve Panel.
Turning to the next page in our calendar is a reminder that fall is just around the corner, but the heatwave we’re experiencing makes it hard to believe that summer will ever end! Luckily, I was able to escape the heat for a bit. I took a week off this month just to veg out with my family, get out of town and relax. While it was wonderful to get away, I’m ready to see what the rest of the summer has in store.
“GAAAASSP. Seriously. I just sucked in air over this paper” That is pretty much how the entire team felt when we laid our eyes on this stunning Heron Wall Paper.
The month of May was very exciting, but we’re looking forward to the slightly slower pace that summer brings! This month we finally moved into our new home, the girls graduated from Kindergarten, the team continued working on some fun client projects and Letecia and I made a quick trip up to NYC to visit the International Contemporary Furniture Fair. Spring has officially arrived! The days are getting warmer and there are beautiful pops of color everywhere. And I can’t believe how close we are getting to the big reveal of the Boulevard Show House. I CANNOT wait to share it with you! The team has been busy putting the finishing touches on the designs and finalizing all the details.
Good gracious, guys! February has come and gone in the blink of an eye. We’ve been hard at work with furnishings installs, photo shoots and making big progress on my own home – aka the Boulevard Show House. And speaking of the Show House, we now have our TruStile doors installed and the tile and hardwood floors are underway! All I can say is that I’m EXCITED!
No matter what the style or design of your home is, there will be some spaces that are more casual than others. For example, the kitchen and game room are rooms you use every day, where you go to relax and hang out. A sitting room or a dining room, on the other hand, are often more formal rooms. They’re designed to be sophisticated spaces that embody luxury and they’re the perfect spot for celebrating special occasions and hosting guests.
