March Obsessions: Color, Classic Shapes, and Clean Lines
Spring has officially arrived! The days are getting warmer and there are beautiful pops of color everywhere. And I can’t believe how close we are getting to the big reveal of the Boulevard Show House. I CANNOT wait to share it with you! The team has been busy putting the finishing touches on the designs and finalizing all the details.
Through the craziness of getting our new home ready this month, I’ve found myself gravitating to pieces that have clean lines, classic shapes and modern details. So today I wanted to share a few things that we’ve been obsessing over this month.
Coupe Chaise – Theodore Alexander
“I love the gold edge detail on this chaise lounge. It adds an unexpected touch and the lines of this piece are stunning. It’s the perfect spot for catching up on your reading.”
– Blair Foster, Lead Interior Designer
Fioni Dining Chair – FBC London
“I love the way this Fiona dining chair channels the classic Klismos chair with the curve of the back, but has a modern flair with the leg design and bold angles.”
– Lexie Terry, Design Assistant
Colorful Lighting – Colleen & Company and Robert Abbey
“I love the idea of an unexpected pop of color that can completely change the tone of the room. The combination of a brass or traditional metal with the color keeps the look upscale and exciting.”
– Lexi Fink, Design Assistant
Sometimes it’s easy to forget the power of simple shapes, clean lines, and subtle details, but these pieces sure have us swooning! They’re beautiful modern-day interpretations of classic design styles. So as we get ready to start a brand new month, I hope you’ve found these pieces inspiring and excited about spring.
