Thanksgiving left us with so many things to be thankful for: time with family and friends, delicious food, and some much-needed naps. But now that we’re back in the swing of things, we’re finding inspiration everywhere we look. It’s time for our November design obsessions!
Periodically, the team here at Laura U has the difficult task of choosing just ONE obsession to share in our Journal. It is never easy for this talented team to narrow their long lists to just one item.
Lexie’s Obsession: Luxury Wallpaper from House of Hackney
We recently had the pleasure of meeting with the lovely ladies from House of Hackney and I am in awe of everything they have to offer. Their fabric and luxury wallpaper line is full of the most vibrant colors and stunning patterns, they’ve got killer lamps and home accessories (what more could a designer ask for?).
If that isn’t enough, the brand is all about maximalism and isn’t afraid to put it all out there. Gotta love that bold spirit!
Britian’s Obsession: Cafe Appliances
My obsession this month is Cafe Appliances! They’re gorgeous home kitchen appliances with a very “fashion forward” feel to them. It might come as a surprise to some people that even appliances can be customized to your space. Their Instagram feed is the perfect place to discover your dream kitchen, especially this holiday season.
Shannon’s Obsession: Framed Hermes Scarves
I am in love with framed Hermes scarves as art. It makes a beautiful and unique art piece and can add stunning color and a fashionable touch to a space. I just purchased my first Hermes scarf when I was traveling in Paris to frame for my home—a great artwork to remember the trip. Framed install shot to follow!
Krystin’s Obsession: Hübsch Ceiling Lights
I’m a big fan of statement pieces and Hubsch ceiling lights definitely make a statement. I would put these over a modern dining table. The way these are suspended in the air, it’s almost like magic.
Blair’s Obsession: House of Hackney
House of Hackney’s plush velvet SABER cushion elevates this moment in a big way. Plus, proceeds from this cushion benefit Panthera, an organization committed to conserving the world’s wild cat population.
Letecia’s Obsession: Hudson Valley Collection by Mark D. Sikes
I am in love with this fresh take on colored pendants from Mark D. Sikes. You see these timeless light fixtures everywhere, but they’re usually so simple. This collection is bright, and the small detailing is a modern update.
Shenay’s Obsession: Attalie Dexter
I am currently obsessing over these mobiles and wall hangings from Attalie Dexter. I love the handmade feel and textures of these pieces. Designed by Attalie Dexter out of Los Angeles, CA. The line began in 2009 with jewelry and has evolved to include these beautiful limited collections.
Stay up-to-date on everything we’re obsessing over by joining our list.
